Who am I? Learn more about my journey.

Hi I’m Anne Ryan! I’ve spent a lifetime working through the body door to find ways to create balance and harmony though embodiment and creativity. I’ve explored movement and stillness through yoga, dance and creative movement, and healing modalities. For me yoga is a toolbox where I find support for moving through my everyday life with greater harmony and ease.

I have over 20 years of experience teaching yoga. This is backed by several certifications – a 500 hour yoga teacher certificate from Namaste International, registered through Yoga Alliance, an 800 hour training from Integrative Yoga Therapy and a C-IAYT certification as a yoga therapist from the International Association of Yoga Therapy. I’ve worn many hats along my journey – yoga teacher, dancer, alternative health care practitioner (acupuncture, Reiki, aromatherapy), studio owner and teacher trainer.

  • embodiment gives us a felt sense experience of life, reducing the stress response which is an underlying factor in disease
  • relaxation allows the body to heal itself
  • health happens when we bring the body back into balance
